In the St Albert history book, The Black Robe's Vision, there is no clear separation between the St Albert Mission and Big Lake Settlement. In the book, there is a note that explains that the name Mista-Sakahikun is the "Cree name for Big Lake Settlement (St Albert)" [BRV 25].
